5120. Daniel Warner , Jr,

BIOGRAPHY: The third generation (in this country) that concerns our family is the name of still antoher Daniel, Jr. This Daniel was thee son of Daniel and Elizabeth Denne. Records show that he was born at Ipswich about 1640-nto long after the arrival of his father's family from England. In order to defferentiate between the two men named Daniel, he was commonly referred to as "Junior". During the year of 1657, at the age of 17, Junior became involved as a witness in a lawsuit. Later he and his brother, John, made a deposition about the sudden death of a horse in1664. Additionally, "the covenant" was taken by Daniel Jr. and his wife Sarah on April 12, 1674. He was pronounced a freeman in September, 1682. He evidently belonged to a Train Band (a militia group) and was referred to as Ensign. Warner Manor, page 14-15 & 21.
